For now, Langtang trek or Gosainkund trek are open for all trekkers. You may do it without guide and porters. Just you need to have your Tims and trekking permit. It takes 10 days or more days (it depend of your trek choice). You can start directly from Kathmandu (1355 m) and cross the Gosainkund pass (4610 m) or by bus to Syabru (one half day). It is one of the most beautiful trek of Nepal. You will meet a lot friendly nepalis and tibetans . The difficulties are between easy to middle (with the Gosainkund pass).
Sunrise Guest House is situated in Kyangjin Gumba (3830m) in the National Langtang Park. This is the last village occupated of this fabulous Langtang valley. There is the famous Langtang yack cheese factory. Sunrise Guest House is very clean and gives all confort for sleeping and for fooding and drinking. You could have excellent hot showers also. The price is allways correct can be allways discut if needed. Wifi is aviable.
